In an upper-level Human Resource Development class for my minor, my group and I were tasked with choosing an organization or company on campus and creating a successful performance improvement plan to benefit our choice. We chose to create a plan for the JMU Athletic Department with the goal of increasing attendance at JMU football games, a growing problem over the years. I developed our course of action, which included incentives through the JMU Athletics app along with an easier process of obtaining a ticket for games.
